Who We Are
------------First-generation everything
First in college
The first in her family to go. No roadmap, no alumni network — just the belief that education was the way forward, and the nerve to walk it.
Attorney at law
Licensed in Texas, practicing the law real people actually need: injury claims, civil disputes, estates, depositions, and business.
Still in the fight
Jada has gone up against a federal agency itself — a workplace she says turned toxic, retaliatory, and discriminatory. She was targeted, and she fought back; the case is still ongoing. First-gen everything means knowing how systems protect themselves — and choosing to speak anyway.
First in law school
Law school speaks its own language. Jada graduated fluent — and never forgot what it felt like to translate every page.
Founder & owner
Built Pretty Little Lawyer on one belief: people who come from backgrounds without lawyers — like hers — deserve plain-English, flat-fee, judgment-free help.
The name is a statement
-
Professional and polished — the work is serious, even when the name smiles.
-
Deliberately not intimidating — you should feel able to ask the question you're embarrassed to ask.
-
Approachable and excellent — you never have to pick one.
-
Fits your life — flat fees you can see, in words you can actually read.
Where fashion meets the bar
It started with the gear.
Before the firm had a full docket, it had a wardrobe: stylish professional wear designed for HBCU law students — clothing for people who didn't see themselves reflected in the profession. What began as a product became a mission.
Today the gear line funds the work and carries the brand — a Pretty Little Lawyer tote in a courthouse line is marketing you can't buy. The same community that inspired the clothing shapes the practice: the students mentored through Law School Bingo study decks, and the clients represented across Houston every week.
